1 （此大闢所作使伶長歌之）耶和華兮、余久爲爾遐棄、不復眷顧兮、

2 敵人自詡、余憂思之不已兮、心懸慮而何底兮。

3 我之上帝耶和華、垂聽我祈兮、使余目之復明、免於死亡兮。

4 恐敵人獲勝而自雄兮、見余傾跌而竊喜兮。

5 余賴爾矜憫、喜爾拯救兮、

6 降福於我躬、余必謳歌之靡窮兮。

1 HOW long, O LORD, wilt thou forsake me? For ever? How long wilt thou turn away thy face from me?

2 How long shall I keep sorrow in my soul and misery in my heart daily? How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

3 Consider and hear me, O LORD my God; lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep in death,

4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him, and those that trouble me rejoice when I am shaken.

5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

6 I will sing unto the LORD, because he has saved me.
