第20章

1 亂定之後，保羅請門徒來，抱了［embraced］他們，就辭別離開［departed］，為要［for］往馬其頓去。

2 他［he］走遍了那一帶地方，用許多話勸勉眾人［them］，然後來到希臘，

3 在那裏住了三個月。保羅［he］將要坐船往敘利亞去，猶太人埋伏［laid wait］要害他，他就定意從馬其頓回去。

4 同他到亞細亞去的，有庇哩亞人所巴特［Sopater of Berea］，帖撒羅尼迦人亞里達古和西公都，還有特庇人該猶，並提摩太，又有亞細亞人推基古和特羅非摩。

5 這些人先走，在特羅亞等候我們。

6 過了除酵節的日子［days of unleavened bread］，我們從腓立比開船，五天到了特羅亞，和他們相會；我們［we］在那裏住了七天。

7 七日的第一日，門徒［disciples］聚會擘餅的時候，保羅次日快要起行［ready to depart on the morrow］，就向他們傳道［preached unto them］；直講到半夜。

8 他們［they］聚會的那座樓上，有許多亮光［many lights］。

9 有一個少年人，名叫猶推古，坐在窗臺上，困倦沉睡。保羅講了多時，少年人睡熟了，就從三層樓上掉下去；扶起他來，已經死了。

10 保羅下去，伏在他身上，抱著他，說：「你們不要發慌；他的命［life］還在他裏頭［in him］。」

11 保羅又上去，擘餅，吃了，談論許久，直到天亮，這才走了。

12 有人把那少年人［young man］活活的領來，得的安慰不小。

13 我們先上船，開往亞朔去，意思要在那裏接保羅；因為他是這樣安排的，他自己打算要步行。

14 他既在亞朔與我們相會，我們就接他上船，來到米推利尼。

15 我們［we］從那裏開船，次日到了基阿的對面；又次日，到了［arrived at］撒摩，就在特基林停泊［tarried at Trogyllium］；又次日，來到米利都。

16 乃因保羅早已定意沿著［by］以弗所，因他不願［because he would not］在亞細亞耽延；他急忙前走，巴不得趕五旬節能到耶路撒冷。

17 保羅從米利都打發人往以弗所去，請教會的長老來。

18 他們來了，保羅就對他們［unto them］說：「你們知道，自從我到亞細亞第一日［first day］以來，在你們中間始終為人如何，

19 服事主［Lord］，凡事謙卑，眼中多多［many］流淚，又因猶太人的謀害，經歷試探［temptations］。

20 你們也知道，凡與你們有益的，我沒有一樣避諱不說的，或在眾人面前，或在各人家裏，我都教導你們；

21 又對猶太人，和希臘人，證明當向神悔改，信靠我們的［our］主耶穌基督［Christ］。

22 現在我往耶路撒冷去，心靈被捆綁［bound in the spirit］，不知道在那裏要遇見甚麼事；

23 但知道聖靈在各城裏向我指證，說有捆鎖與患難等待我。

24 但這些事都沒有動搖我［But none of these things move me］，我卻不以性命為念，也不看為寶貴，只要歡歡喜喜［with joy］行完我的路程，成就我從主耶穌所領受的職事，證明神恩典［grace］的福音。」

25 「我素常在你們中間來往，傳講神國的道，如今看哪［behold］，我曉得你們以後都不得再見我的面了。

26 所以我今日向你們證明，你們中間無論何人死亡，我於眾人的血是潔淨的［I am pure from the blood of all men］。

27 因為神的旨意，我並沒有一樣避諱不傳給你們的。

28 聖靈立你們作全群的監督，你們就當為自己謹慎，也為全群謹慎，餵養［feed］神的教會，就是他用自己血所買來［purchased］的。

29 我知道，我去之後必有兇暴的豺狼進入你們中間，不愛惜羊群。

30 就是你們中間，也必有人起來說悖謬的話，要引誘門徒跟從他們。

31 所以你們應當警醒，記念我三年之久晝夜不住的流淚、勸戒你們各人。

32 弟兄們［brethren］，如今我把你們交託神和他恩典［grace］的道；這道能建立你們，叫你們和一切成聖的人同得基業。

33 我未曾貪圖一個人的金、銀、衣服。

34 我這兩隻手常供給我和同人的需用，這是你們自己知道的。

35 我凡事給你們指示了［shewed］，叫你們知道應當這樣勞苦，扶助軟弱的人，又當記念主耶穌的話，說：『施比受更為有福。』」

36 保羅說完了這話，就跪下同眾人禱告。

37 眾人痛哭，抱著保羅的頸項，和他親嘴。

38 叫他們最傷心的，就是他說，以後不能再見我的面那句話。他們［they］於是送他上船去了。

2 And when he had gone1330 over1330 those1565 parts,3313 and had given them much4183 exhortation,3870 he came2064 into1519 Greece,1671

3 And there stayed4160 three5140 months.3376 And when the Jews2453 laid1096 wait1096 1917 for him, as he was about3195 to sail321 into1519 Syria,4947 he purposed1096 1106 to return5290 through1223 Macedonia.3109

4 And there accompanied4902 him into891 Asia773 Sopater4986 of Berea;960 and of the Thessalonians,2331 Aristarchus708 and Secundus;4580 and Gaius1050 of Derbe,1191 and Timotheus;5095 and of Asia,773 Tychicus5190 and Trophimus.5161

5 These3778 going4281 before4281 tarried3306 for us at1722 Troas.5174

6 And we sailed1602 away1602 from Philippi5375 after3326 the days2250 of unleavened106 bread, and came2064 to them to Troas5174 in five4002 days;2250 where3757 we stayed1304 seven2033 days.2250

7 And on the first3391 day of the week,4521 when the disciples3101 came4863 together4863 to break2806 bread,740 Paul3972 preached1256 to them, ready3195 to depart1826 on the morrow;1887 and continued3905 his speech3056 until3360 midnight.3317

8 And there were many2425 lights2985 in the upper5253 chamber,5253 where3757 they were gathered4863 together.4863

9 And there sat2521 in a window2376 a certain5100 young3494 man3494 named3686 Eutychus,2161 being fallen2702 into a deep901 sleep:5258 and as Paul3972 was long1909 4119 preaching,1256 he sunk2702 down2736 with sleep,5258 and fell4098 down from the third5152 loft,5152 and was taken142 up dead.3498

10 And Paul3972 went2597 down,2597 and fell1968 on1968 him, and embracing4843 him said,2036 Trouble2350 not yourselves; for his life5590 is in him.

11 When he therefore3767 was come305 up again, and had broken2806 bread,740 and eaten,1089 and talked3656 a long2425 while, even till891 break827 of day,827 so3779 he departed.1831

12 And they brought71 the young3816 man alive,2198 and were not a little3357 comforted.3870

13 And we went4281 before4281 to ship,4143 and sailed321 to Assos,789 there1564 intending3195 to take353 in Paul:3972 for so3779 had he appointed,1299 minding3195 himself846 to go afoot.3978

14 And when5613 he met4820 with us at1519 Assos,789 we took353 him in, and came2064 to Mitylene.3412

15 And we sailed636 there,1564 and came2064 the next1966 day over481 against481 Chios;5508 and the next2087 day we arrived3846 at1519 Samos,4544 and tarried3306 at1722 Trogyllium;5175 and the next2192 day we came2064 to Miletus.3399

16 For Paul3972 had determined2919 to sail3896 by Ephesus,2181 because3704 he would1096 not spend5551 the time5551 in Asia:773 for he hurried,4692 if1487 it were possible1415 for him, to be at1519 Jerusalem2414 the day2250 of Pentecost.4005

17 And from Miletus3399 he sent3992 to Ephesus,2181 and called3333 the elders4245 of the church.1577

18 And when5613 they were come3854 to him, he said2036 to them, You know,1987 from the first4413 day2250 that I came1910 into1519 Asia,773 after4459 what manner4458 I have been1096 with you at all3956 seasons,5550

19 Serving1398 the LORD2962 with all3956 humility5012 of mind, and with many4183 tears,1144 and temptations,3986 which3588 befell4819 me by the lying in wait1917 of the Jews:2453

20 And how5613 I kept5288 back5288 nothing3762 that was profitable4851 to you, but have2192 showed312 you, and have2192 taught1321 you publicly,1219 and from house3624 to house,3624

21 Testifying1263 both5037 to the Jews,2453 and also2532 to the Greeks,1672 repentance3341 toward1519 God,2316 and faith4102 toward1519 our Lord2962 Jesus2424 Christ.5547

22 And now,3568 behold,2400 I go4198 bound1210 in the spirit4151 to Jerusalem,2419 not knowing1492 the things that shall befall4876 me there:1722

23 Save4133 that the Holy40 Ghost4151 witnesses1263 in every2596 city,4172 saying3004 that bonds1199 and afflictions2347 abide3306 me.

24 But none3762 of these things3056 move3056 4160 me, neither3761 count2192 I my life5590 dear5093 to myself,1683 so5613 that I might finish5048 my course1408 with joy,5479 and the ministry,1248 which3739 I have2192 received2983 of the Lord2962 Jesus,2424 to testify1263 the gospel2098 of the grace5485 of God.2316

25 And now,3568 behold,2400 I know1492 that you all,3956 among1722 whom3739 I have2192 gone1330 preaching2784 the kingdom932 of God,2316 shall see3700 my face4383 no3765 more.3765

26 Why1352 I take you to record3143 this4594 day,4594 that I am pure2513 from the blood129 of all3956 men.

27 For I have2192 not shunned5288 to declare312 to you all3956 the counsel1012 of God.2316

28 Take heed4337 therefore to yourselves,1438 and to all3956 the flock,4168 over1722 the which3739 the Holy40 Ghost4151 has made5087 you overseers,1985 to feed4165 the church1577 of God,2316 which3739 he has purchased4046 with his own2398 blood.129

29 For I know1492 this,5124 that after3326 my departing867 shall grievous926 wolves3074 enter1525 in among1519 you, not sparing5339 the flock.4168

30 Also2532 of your5216 own selves846 shall men435 arise,450 speaking2980 perverse1294 things, to draw645 away645 disciples3101 after3694 them.

31 Therefore1352 watch,1127 and remember,3421 that by the space5148 of three5148 years5148 I ceased3973 not to warn3560 every1538 one1520 night3571 and day2250 with tears.1144

32 And now,3568 brothers,80 I commend3908 you to God,2316 and to the word3056 of his grace,5485 which3588 is able1410 to build2026 you up, and to give1325 you an inheritance2817 among1722 all3956 them which are sanctified.37

33 I have2192 coveted1937 no3762 man's3762 silver,694 or2228 gold,5553 or2228 apparel.2441

34 Yes,1161 you yourselves846 know,1097 that these3778 hands5495 have2192 ministered5256 to my necessities,5532 and to them that were with me.

35 I have2192 showed5263 you all3956 things, how that so3779 laboring2872 you ought1163 to support482 the weak,770 and to remember3421 the words3056 of the Lord2962 Jesus,2424 how3754 he said,2036 It is more3122 blessed3107 to give1325 than to receive.2983

36 And when he had thus5023 spoken,2036 he kneeled5087 1119 down, and prayed4336 with them all.3956

37 And they all3956 wept1096 2805 sore,2425 and fell1968 on1909 Paul's3972 neck,5137 and kissed2705 him,

8 他們［they］聚會的那座樓上，有許多亮光［many lights］。

10 保羅下去，伏在他身上，抱著他，說：「你們不要發慌；他的命［life］還在他裏頭［in him］。」

17 保羅從米利都打發人往以弗所去，請教會的長老來。

19 服事主［Lord］，凡事謙卑，眼中多多［many］流淚，又因猶太人的謀害，經歷試探［temptations］。

19 Serving1398 the LORD2962 with all3956 humility5012 of mind, and with many4183 tears,1144 and temptations,3986 which3588 befell4819 me by the lying in wait1917 of the Jews:2453

20 你們也知道，凡與你們有益的，我沒有一樣避諱不說的，或在眾人面前，或在各人家裏，我都教導你們；

20 And how5613 I kept5288 back5288 nothing3762 that was profitable4851 to you, but have2192 showed312 you, and have2192 taught1321 you publicly,1219 and from house3624 to house,3624

21 又對猶太人，和希臘人，證明當向神悔改，信靠我們的［our］主耶穌基督［Christ］。

22 現在我往耶路撒冷去，心靈被捆綁［bound in the spirit］，不知道在那裏要遇見甚麼事；

23 但知道聖靈在各城裏向我指證，說有捆鎖與患難等待我。

24 但這些事都沒有動搖我［But none of these things move me］，我卻不以性命為念，也不看為寶貴，只要歡歡喜喜［with joy］行完我的路程，成就我從主耶穌所領受的職事，證明神恩典［grace］的福音。」

25 「我素常在你們中間來往，傳講神國的道，如今看哪［behold］，我曉得你們以後都不得再見我的面了。

26 所以我今日向你們證明，你們中間無論何人死亡，我於眾人的血是潔淨的［I am pure from the blood of all men］。

27 因為神的旨意，我並沒有一樣避諱不傳給你們的。

28 聖靈立你們作全群的監督，你們就當為自己謹慎，也為全群謹慎，餵養［feed］神的教會，就是他用自己血所買來［purchased］的。
