1 「你們是耶和華─你們神的兒女；不可為死人用刀劃身，也不可將兩眼當中［between your eyes］剃光。

2 因為你歸耶和華─你神為聖潔的民，耶和華從地上的列國［nations］中揀選你特作自己的子民。

3 「凡可憎的物你［Thou］都不可吃。

4 可吃的牲畜就是牛、綿羊、山羊、

5 牡鹿［hart］、公獐鹿［roebuck］、黇鹿［fallow deer］、野山羊、麋鹿、野牛［wild ox］、岩羚羊［chamois］。

6 凡分蹄成為兩瓣又倒嚼的走獸，你們都可以吃。

7 但那些倒嚼或是分蹄之中不可吃的乃是駱駝、兔子、蹄兔［coney］─因為是倒嚼不分蹄，就與你們不潔淨；

8 豬─因為是分蹄卻不倒嚼，就與你們不潔淨；這些獸的肉，你們不可吃，死屍［dead carcases］也不可摸。

9 「水中可吃的乃是這些：凡有翅有鱗的都可以吃；

10 凡無翅無鱗的都不可吃，是與你們不潔淨。

11 「凡潔淨的鳥，你們都可以吃。

12 不可吃的乃是鵰、狗頭鵰、紅頭鵰、

13 鸇、小鷹、鷂鷹與其類，

14 烏鴉與其類，

15 貓頭鷹［owl］、夜鷹、魚鷹、鷹與其類。

16 鴞鳥、貓頭鷹、天鵝［swan］、

17 鵜鶘、禿鵰、鸕鶿、

18 鸛、鷺鷥與其類，戴鵀與蝙蝠。

19 凡會飛［flieth］爬行的物是與你們不潔淨，都不可吃。

20 凡潔淨的鳥，你們都可以吃。

21 「凡自死的，你們都不可吃。你［thou］可以給你城門裏的外人［stranger］吃，或賣與外邦人［alien］吃；因為你是歸耶和華─你神為聖潔的民。「你［Thou］不可用山羊羔母的奶煮山羊羔。

22 「你必［truly］要把你撒種所產的，就是你田地每年所出的，十分取一分。

23 又要把你的五穀、新酒、和油的十分之一，並牛群羊群中頭生的，吃在耶和華─你神面前，就是他所選擇要立為他名的居所。這樣，你可以學習時常敬畏耶和華─你的神。

24 當耶和華─你神賜福與你的時候，耶和華─你神所選擇要立為他名的地方若離你太遠，那路也太長，使你不能把這物帶到那裏去，

25 你就可以換成錢［money］，將錢［money］包起來，拿在手中，往耶和華─你神所要選擇的地方去。

26 你用那錢［that money］，隨心所欲，或買牛羊，或買清酒濃酒，凡你心所想的都可以買；你和你的家屬在耶和華─你神的面前吃喝快樂，

27 並［And］住在你城門［gate］裏的利未人；你不可丟棄他；因為他在你［thee］中間無分無業。

28 每逢三年的末一年，你要將本年的土產十分之一都取出來，積存在你城門內［within thy gates］；

29 利未人，（因為他在你城裏無分無業［because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee］），和你城門［gates］裏的客旅［stranger］，並無父的和［fatherless, and］寡婦，都可以來，吃得飽足；這樣，耶和華─你的神必在你手裏所辦的一切事上賜福與你。

1 You are the children1121 of the LORD3068 your God:430 you shall not cut1413 yourselves, nor3808 make7760 any baldness7144 between996 your eyes5869 for the dead.4191

2 For you are an holy6918 people5971 to the LORD3068 your God,430 and the LORD3068 has chosen977 you to be a peculiar5459 people5971 to himself, above all3605 the nations5971 that are on the earth.127

3 You shall not eat398 any3605 abominable8441 thing.

4 These2063 are the beasts929 which834 you shall eat:398 the ox,7794 the sheep,3775 and the goat,5795

5 The hart,354 and the roebuck,6643 and the fallow3180 deer,3180 and the wild689 goat,689 and the pygarg,1788 and the wild8377 ox,8377 and the chamois.2169

6 And every3605 beast929 that parts6536 the hoof,6541 and separates8157 the cleft8156 into two8147 claws,6541 and chews5927 the cud1625 among the beasts,929 that you shall eat.398

7 Nevertheless389 these2088 you shall not eat398 of them that chew5927 the cud,1625 or of them that divide6536 the cloven8156 hoof;6541 as the camel,1581 and the hare,768 and the coney:8227 for they chew5927 the cud,1625 but divide6536 not the hoof;6541 therefore they are unclean2931 to you.

8 And the swine,2386 because3588 it divides6536 the hoof,6541 yet chews not the cud,1625 it is unclean2931 to you: you shall not eat398 of their flesh,1320 nor3808 touch5060 their dead5038 carcass.5038

9 These2088 you shall eat398 of all3605 that are in the waters:4325 all3605 that have fins5579 and scales7193 shall you eat:398

10 And whatever3605 834 has not fins5579 and scales7193 you may not eat;398 it is unclean2931 to you.

11 Of all3605 clean2889 birds6833 you shall eat.398

12 But these2088 are they of which834 you shall not eat:398 the eagle,5404 and the ossifrage,6538 and the ospray,5822

13 And the glede,7201 and the kite,344 and the vulture1772 after his kind,4327

14 And every3605 raven6158 after his kind,4327

15 And the owl,1323 3284 and the night8464 hawk,8464 and the cuckow,7828 and the hawk5322 after his kind,4327

16 The little3563 owl,3563 and the great3244 owl,3244 and the swan,8580

17 And the pelican,6893 and the gier7360 eagle,7360 and the cormorant,7994

18 And the stork,2624 and the heron601 after her kind,4327 and the lapwing,1744 and the bat.5847

19 And every3605 creeping8318 thing that flies5775 is unclean2931 to you: they shall not be eaten.398

22 You shall truly tithe6237 all3605 the increase8393 of your seed,2233 that the field7704 brings3318 forth3318 year8141 by year.8141

23 And you shall eat398 before6440 the LORD3068 your God,430 in the place4725 which834 he shall choose977 to place7931 his name8034 there,8033 the tithe4643 of your corn,1715 of your wine,8492 and of your oil,3323 and the firstborn1062 of your herds1241 and of your flocks;6629 that you may learn3925 to fear3372 the LORD3068 your God430 always.3605 3117

24 And if3588 the way1870 be too long7235 for you, so that you are not able3201 to carry5375 it; or if3588 the place4725 be too far7368 from you, which834 the LORD3068 your God430 shall choose977 to set7760 his name8034 there,8033 when3588 the LORD3068 your God430 has blessed1288 you:

25 Then shall you turn5414 it into money,3701 and bind6887 up the money3701 in your hand,3027 and shall go1980 to the place4725 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 shall choose:977

26 And you shall bestow5414 that money3701 for whatever3605 834 your soul5315 lusts183 after, for oxen,1241 or for sheep,6629 or for wine,3196 or for strong drink,7941 or for whatever3605 834 your soul5315 desires:7592 and you shall eat398 there8033 before6440 the LORD3068 your God,430 and you shall rejoice,8055 you, and your household,1004

27 And the Levite3881 that is within your gates;8179 you shall not forsake5800 him; for he has no369 part2506 nor inheritance5159 with you.

28 At the end7097 of three7969 years8141 you shall bring3318 forth3318 all3605 the tithe4643 of your increase8393 the same1931 year,8141 and shall lay3240 it up within your gates:8179

29 And the Levite,3881 (because3588 he has no369 part2506 nor inheritance5159 with you,) and the stranger,1616 and the fatherless,3490 and the widow,490 which834 are within your gates,8179 shall come,935 and shall eat398 and be satisfied;7646 that the LORD3068 your God430 may bless1288 you in all3605 the work4639 of your hand3027 which834 you do.6213
