5 And they reasoned4817 with themselves,1438 saying,3004 If1437 we shall say,2036 From heaven;3772 he will say,2046 Why1302 then3767 believed4100 you him not?

6 But and if1437 we say,2036 Of men;444 all3956 the people2992 will stone2642 us: for they be persuaded3982 that John2491 was a prophet.4396

7 And they answered,611 that they could3361 not tell1492 from where4159 it was.

|
|
8 And Jesus2424 said2036 to them, Neither3761 tell3004 I you by what4169 authority1849 I do4160 these5023 things.

9 Then1161 began756 he to speak3004 to the people2992 this5026 parable;3850 A certain5100 man444 planted5452 a vineyard,290 and let1554 it forth1554 to farmers,1092 and went589 into a far country589 for a long2425 time.5550

10 And at1722 the season2540 he sent649 a servant1401 to the farmers,1092 that they should give1325 him of the fruit2590 of the vineyard:290 but the farmers1092 beat1194 him, and sent1821 him away1821 empty.2756

12 And again4388 he sent3992 a third:5154 and they wounded5135 him also,2532 and cast1544 him out.

|
13 Then1161 said2036 the lord2962 of the vineyard,290 What5101 shall I do?4160 I will send3992 my beloved27 son:5207 it may2481 be they will reverence1788 him when they see1492 him.
|
13 Тогда1161 сказал20363588 господин29623588 виноградника:290 «что5101 мне делать?4160 Пошлю39923588 сына5207 моего34503588 возлюбленного;27 может2481 быть, увидев1492 его,5126 постыдятся».1788

|
14 But when the farmers1092 saw1492 him, they reasoned1260 among4314 themselves,1438 saying,3004 This3778 is the heir:2818 come,1205 let us kill615 him, that the inheritance2817 may be ours.2257
|
14 Но11613588 виноградари,1092 увидев1492 его,846 рассуждали1260 между4314 собою,1438 говоря:3004 «это377820763588 наследник;2818 пойдем,1205 убьем615 его,846 и24433588 наследство2817 его будет1096 наше».2257

|
15 So2532 they cast1544 him out of the vineyard,290 and killed615 him. What5101 therefore3767 shall the lord2962 of the vineyard290 do4160 to them?

|
16 He shall come2064 and destroy622 these5128 farmers,1092 and shall give1325 the vineyard290 to others.243 And when they heard191 it, they said,2036 God3361 1096 forbid.3361 1096

17 And he beheld1689 them, and said,2036 What5101 is this5124 then3767 that is written,1125 The stone3037 which3739 the builders3618 rejected,593 the same3778 is become1096 1519 the head2776 of the corner?1137
|

18 Whoever3956 3588 shall fall4098 on that stone3037 shall be broken;4917 but on1909 whomsoever3739 302 it shall fall,4098 it will grind3039 him to powder.3039

18 Всякий,3956 кто3588 упадет4098 на1909 тот15653588 камень,3037 разобьется,4917 а1161 на1909 кого37391161302 он упадет,4098 того846 раздавит.3039
|
|
19 And the chief749 priests749 and the scribes1122 the same846 hour5610 sought2212 to lay1911 hands5495 on1909 him; and they feared5399 the people:2992 for they perceived1097 that he had spoken2036 this5026 parable3850 against4314 them.

20 And they watched3906 him, and sent649 forth649 spies,1455 which should feign5271 themselves1438 just1342 men, that they might take1949 hold1949 of his words,3056 that so1519 they might deliver3860 him to the power746 and authority1849 of the governor.2230

21 And they asked1905 him, saying,3004 Master,1320 we know1492 that you say3004 and teach1321 rightly,3723 neither2532 3756 accept2983 you the person4383 of any, but teach1321 the way3598 of God2316 truly:1909

23 But he perceived2657 their craftiness,3834 and said2036 to them, Why5101 tempt3985 you me?

|
24 Show1925 me a penny.1220 Whose5100 image1504 and superscription1923 has2192 it? They answered611 and said,2036 Caesar's.2541

25 And he said2036 to them, Render591 therefore5106 to Caesar2541 the things which be Caesar's,2541 and to God2316 the things which be God's.2316

29 There were therefore3767 seven2033 brothers:80 and the first4413 took2983 a wife,1135 and died599 without815 children.815

33 Therefore3767 in the resurrection386 whose5100 wife1135 of them is she? for seven2033 had2192 her to wife.1135

34 And Jesus2424 answering611 said2036 to them, The children5207 of this5126 world165 marry,1060 and are given in marriage:1548

37 Now1161 that the dead3498 are raised,1453 even2532 Moses3475 showed3377 at1909 the bush,942 when5613 he calls3004 the Lord2962 the God2316 of Abraham,11 and the God2316 of Isaac,2464 and the God2316 of Jacob.2384
