利未記

第20章

1 耶和華對摩西說：

2 你還要曉諭以色列人說：「凡以色列人，或是在以色列中寄居的外人，把自己的兒女獻給摩洛的，總要治死他；本地人要用石頭把他打死。

3 我也要向那人變臉，把他從民中剪除；因為他把兒女獻給摩洛，玷污我的聖所，褻瀆我的聖名。

4 那人把兒女獻給摩洛，本地人若佯為不見，不把他治死，

5 我就要向這人和他的家變臉，把他和一切隨他與摩洛犯［commit］邪淫的人都從民中剪除。

6 「人偏向有靈使的［have familiar spirits］和行巫術的，隨他們行邪淫，我要向那人變臉，把他從民中剪除。

7 所以你們要自潔成聖，因為我是耶和華─你們的神。

8 你們要謹守遵行我的律例；我是叫你們成聖的耶和華。

9 凡咒罵父母的，總要治死他；他咒罵了父母，他的血［blood］要歸到他身上。

10 「與別人之妻姦淫的［And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife］，就是［even］與鄰居之妻姦淫［committeth adultery］的，姦夫淫婦都必治死。

11 與繼母同寢［lieth with］的，就是露了他父親的裸體［uncovered his father's nakedness］，總要把他們二人治死，他們的血［their blood］要歸到他們身上。

12 與兒婦同寢［lie with］的，總要把他們二人治死；他們行了逆倫的事，他們的血［their blood］要歸到他們身上。

13 人若與男人同寢［lie with］，像與女人一樣，他們二人犯了［committed］可憎的事；總要把他們治死，他們的血［their blood］要歸到他們身上。

14 人若娶妻，並娶其母，便是大惡，要把這三人用火焚燒，使你們中間免去大惡。

15 人若與獸同寢［lie with］，總要治死他，也要殺那獸。

16 女人若與獸親近，下臥其中［lie down thereto］，你要殺那女人和那獸，總要把他們治死，他們的血［their blood］要歸到他們身上。

17 「人若娶他的姊妹，無論是異母同父的，是異父同母的，彼此見了裸體［nakedness］，這是可惡［wicked］的事；他們必在本民的眼前被剪除。他露了姊妹的裸體［nakedness］，必擔當自己的罪孽。

18 婦人有月經，若與她同寢［lie with］，露了她的裸體［nakedness］；他就掀［he hath discovered］了婦人的血源，婦人也露了自己的血源。二人必從民中剪除。

19 你［thou］不可露姨母或是姑母的裸體［nakedness］，這是露了近［near］親的裸體［nakedness］；二人必擔當自己的罪孽。

20 人若與伯叔之妻同寢［lie with］，就露了他伯叔的裸體［uncovered his uncle's nakedness］；二人要擔當自己的罪，必無子女而死。

21 人若娶他兄弟［his brother］之妻，這本是污穢的事，因他露了他兄弟的裸體［he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness］；二人必無子女。

22 「所以，你們要謹守遵行我一切的律例典章，免得我領你們去住的那地把你們吐出。

23 我在你們面前所逐出的國民，你們不可隨從他們的風俗；因為他們犯了［committed］這一切的事，所以我厭惡他們。

24 但我對你們說過，你們要承受他們的地，就是我要賜給你們為業、流奶與蜜之地。我是耶和華─你們的神，使你們與眾民有分別的。

25 所以，你們要把潔淨和不潔淨的禽獸分別出來；不可因我給你們分為不潔淨的禽獸，或是在地上爬［creepeth on the ground］的甚麼［any manner of］活物，使自己成為可憎惡的。

26 你們要歸我為聖，因為我─耶和華是聖的，並叫你們與眾民有分別，使你們作我的民。

27 「無論男女，是有靈使的［have familiar spirits］或行巫術的，總要治死他們。人必用石頭把他們打死，他們的血［their blood］要歸到他們身上。」

Leviticus

Chapter 20

1 AND the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Say to the children of Israel, Any man of the children of Israel or of the proselytes who sojourn in Israel who shall cast any of his semen into an alien woman, he shall surely be put to death; the people of the land shall stone him with stones.

3 And I will pour out my anger against that man and will cut him off from among his people; because he has cast his semen into an alien woman to defile my sanctuary and to profane my holy name.

4 And if the people of the land do in any way ignore the offense of the man who has cast of his semen into an alien woman, that they may not kill him,

5 Then I will set my anger against that man and against his family, and will cut him off and all who go astray after him, because they go astray after alien women from among their people.

6 And the person that goes after diviners and soothsayers to go astray after them, I will pour out my anger against that person and will cut him off from among his people.

7 Sanctify yourselves, therefore, and be holy; for I am the LORD your God.

8 You shall keep my commandments and do them; I am the LORD who sanctifies you.

9 And he who curses his father or his mother shall be surely put to death; he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.

10 And the man who commits adultery with another man's wife, even he who commits adultery with his neighbor's wife, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

11 And the man who lies with his father's wife has uncovered his father's nakedness; both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

12 And if a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death, because they have committed a sin; their blood shall be upon them.

13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

14 And if a man takes a wife and her mother, it is wickedness; they shall be burned with fire, both he and they, that there may be no wickedness among you.

15 And if a man lies with a beast, he shall surely be put to death and the beast shall be stoned.

16 And if a woman approaches any beast and lies with it, you shall kill the woman and the beast; they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

17 And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter or his mother's daughter, and be intimate with her and she be intimate with him, it is a shameful thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people; he has uncovered his sister's nakedness; they shall suffer for their iniquity.

18 And if a man shall lie with a woman having her menstruation and shall be intimate with her, he has uncovered her fountain and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood; and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.

19 And you shall not be intimate with your mother's sister nor your father's sister; for he uncovers the nakedness of his near kin; they shall suffer for their iniquity.

20 And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness; they shall suffer for their sin; they shall die childless.

21 And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an iniquity, for he has uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.

22 You shall therefore keep all my commandments and all my judgments and do them, that the land whither I bring you to dwell therein may not be bereaved of you.

23 And you shall not walk in the manners of the nations which I am casting out before you; for they committed all these things, and therefore I was grieved by them.

24 But I have said to you, You shall inherit their land and I will give it to you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey; I am the LORD your God who have separated you from other peoples.

25 You shall therefore make a distinction between clean beasts and unclean, and between clean fowls and unclean; and you shall not make yourselves abominable by beast or by fowl or by any manner of living thing that creeps on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.

26 And you shall be holy to me; for I the LORD am holy and have separated you from other peoples, that you should be mine.

27 A man or a woman who is a diviner, or soothsayer shall surely be put to death; they shall stone them with stones; their blood shall be upon them.

1 耶和華對摩西說：

4 And if the people of the land do in any way ignore the offense of the man who has cast of his semen into an alien woman, that they may not kill him,

5 我就要向這人和他的家變臉，把他和一切隨他與摩洛犯［commit］邪淫的人都從民中剪除。

5 Then I will set my anger against that man and against his family, and will cut him off and all who go astray after him, because they go astray after alien women from among their people.

7 Sanctify yourselves, therefore, and be holy; for I am the LORD your God.

8 You shall keep my commandments and do them; I am the LORD who sanctifies you.

9 凡咒罵父母的，總要治死他；他咒罵了父母，他的血［blood］要歸到他身上。

9 And he who curses his father or his mother shall be surely put to death; he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.

10 「與別人之妻姦淫的［And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife］，就是［even］與鄰居之妻姦淫［committeth adultery］的，姦夫淫婦都必治死。

10 And the man who commits adultery with another man's wife, even he who commits adultery with his neighbor's wife, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

11 與繼母同寢［lieth with］的，就是露了他父親的裸體［uncovered his father's nakedness］，總要把他們二人治死，他們的血［their blood］要歸到他們身上。

11 And the man who lies with his father's wife has uncovered his father's nakedness; both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

12 與兒婦同寢［lie with］的，總要把他們二人治死；他們行了逆倫的事，他們的血［their blood］要歸到他們身上。

12 And if a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death, because they have committed a sin; their blood shall be upon them.

13 人若與男人同寢［lie with］，像與女人一樣，他們二人犯了［committed］可憎的事；總要把他們治死，他們的血［their blood］要歸到他們身上。

13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

14 人若娶妻，並娶其母，便是大惡，要把這三人用火焚燒，使你們中間免去大惡。

14 And if a man takes a wife and her mother, it is wickedness; they shall be burned with fire, both he and they, that there may be no wickedness among you.

15 人若與獸同寢［lie with］，總要治死他，也要殺那獸。

15 And if a man lies with a beast, he shall surely be put to death and the beast shall be stoned.

16 女人若與獸親近，下臥其中［lie down thereto］，你要殺那女人和那獸，總要把他們治死，他們的血［their blood］要歸到他們身上。

16 And if a woman approaches any beast and lies with it, you shall kill the woman and the beast; they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

17 「人若娶他的姊妹，無論是異母同父的，是異父同母的，彼此見了裸體［nakedness］，這是可惡［wicked］的事；他們必在本民的眼前被剪除。他露了姊妹的裸體［nakedness］，必擔當自己的罪孽。

17 And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter or his mother's daughter, and be intimate with her and she be intimate with him, it is a shameful thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people; he has uncovered his sister's nakedness; they shall suffer for their iniquity.

18 婦人有月經，若與她同寢［lie with］，露了她的裸體［nakedness］；他就掀［he hath discovered］了婦人的血源，婦人也露了自己的血源。二人必從民中剪除。

18 And if a man shall lie with a woman having her menstruation and shall be intimate with her, he has uncovered her fountain and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood; and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.

19 你［thou］不可露姨母或是姑母的裸體［nakedness］，這是露了近［near］親的裸體［nakedness］；二人必擔當自己的罪孽。

19 And you shall not be intimate with your mother's sister nor your father's sister; for he uncovers the nakedness of his near kin; they shall suffer for their iniquity.

20 人若與伯叔之妻同寢［lie with］，就露了他伯叔的裸體［uncovered his uncle's nakedness］；二人要擔當自己的罪，必無子女而死。

20 And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness; they shall suffer for their sin; they shall die childless.

21 And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an iniquity, for he has uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.

22 You shall therefore keep all my commandments and all my judgments and do them, that the land whither I bring you to dwell therein may not be bereaved of you.

23 我在你們面前所逐出的國民，你們不可隨從他們的風俗；因為他們犯了［committed］這一切的事，所以我厭惡他們。

23 And you shall not walk in the manners of the nations which I am casting out before you; for they committed all these things, and therefore I was grieved by them.

24 但我對你們說過，你們要承受他們的地，就是我要賜給你們為業、流奶與蜜之地。我是耶和華─你們的神，使你們與眾民有分別的。

24 But I have said to you, You shall inherit their land and I will give it to you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey; I am the LORD your God who have separated you from other peoples.

25 所以，你們要把潔淨和不潔淨的禽獸分別出來；不可因我給你們分為不潔淨的禽獸，或是在地上爬［creepeth on the ground］的甚麼［any manner of］活物，使自己成為可憎惡的。

25 You shall therefore make a distinction between clean beasts and unclean, and between clean fowls and unclean; and you shall not make yourselves abominable by beast or by fowl or by any manner of living thing that creeps on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.

26 你們要歸我為聖，因為我─耶和華是聖的，並叫你們與眾民有分別，使你們作我的民。

26 And you shall be holy to me; for I the LORD am holy and have separated you from other peoples, that you should be mine.

27 「無論男女，是有靈使的［have familiar spirits］或行巫術的，總要治死他們。人必用石頭把他們打死，他們的血［their blood］要歸到他們身上。」

27 A man or a woman who is a diviner, or soothsayer shall surely be put to death; they shall stone them with stones; their blood shall be upon them.
